And I’m headed to my doctor today to figure it out.
It might be a fracture. I hope not.
*EDIT*
The x-rays show a thing called !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! injury. I have to wear a splint and I may need surgery

Hope not — best wishes! (Or maybe tenosynovitis)

I’m still waiting for the nail on my left pinky finger to fall off after I slammed it in the door of a Taurus the week before Thanksgiving.

Yow! I’ve lost two fingernails like that (both grew back, you can’t even tell they were gone).

Ouch. Hope it’s nothing serious.

yeah. only hurt for a day or two, so no fracture. definitely broke at the nail root though, and looks grody.

Based on the lack of purple I’d say if it is a fracture, it’s not a bad one. I did chip my elbow once with no change in color, though. Two years later I still can’t lean on it without it feeling like there’s glass in my arm.

I may need surgery
I’ll do it for $20, let me go get my knife real quick.

How did it happen? I jammed my thumb rather hard while starting a chainsaw about a month ago and it still hurts when I bend it. Wondering if I should have a doc look at it.

Probably hurt less than the shame of having to ride in a Taurus.

I wasn’t riding in it.

A couple of years ago I woke up at 4 am on a Saturday to find that my roomates cat had shit and pissed all over the house.
I got pissed and whilst barefoot kicked a full size living room chair across the room like a soccer ball, then cleaned up the house and went to work, in construction.
My foot hurt all day and felt funny inside of my boot. When I finally got home and removed my boot I saw this:
The following day it looked like this:
When monday rolled around I found that my foot no longer fit inside of my work boot. I had to cut the toe out of my Adidas to even make it out of the door.
This is my foot, on stilts:
Never went to the doctor. Eventually let my wife lance it and kept it wrapped and polyspirin’d until it healed.
Fun times.

Ah shouldn’t have assumed sorry.
